In 1987, Mr. Bharat B Bhalla was called by one of the top executives of a well-known Cement Company in India and discussed the issues and challenges they faced for smooth material flow in different areas of their Plant. At the time, to solve this problem, Air Blasters from different countries were imported and used but they were not efficient enough and required a lot of maintenance during operation.

This led to the Birth of MM Air Blaster which was a challenge for Mr. Bhalla, which he accepted and went into R&D and development of a system which was more effective and needed negligible maintenance during its operation. It took MM Air Blaster 2 years to come into existence and its first Commercial Installation was back in 1989. It faced teething issues and then finally the design was perfected and the company started in Sale and Installation on a full scale by the end of 1990.

In 1995, the company won the Excellence award in Productivity, Quality and Innovation.

After becoming the market leader in the Bulk Handling Industry in India, MMOI started crossing borders with its first installation in Africa in 1999. Since then MMOI presence grew in around 40 countries as of today, their products and services have been widely accepted globally.
